What days do the trains run?
From early May until late September, our trains run every Sunday and Belgian public holidays, and in July and August also on Wednesdays.

How to get here?
By car
Maldegem station is easily accessible via the N9 (between Bruges and Ghent). There are several parking facilities within walking distance of the train station.

By train
Travelling by train? Take the NMBS-train to Eeklo station, located on the Ghent-Eeklo line.
From there, you can easily transfer to our historic trains, which depart from platform 3 of the NMBS station.
By bus
There is a bus stop right outside Maldegem station. De Lijn’s bus line 50 connects Bruges, Maldegem, Eeklo, and Ghent, stopping literally at our doorstep (stop: Maldegem station).

By bike
Our station is located right by cycle junction 10 of the Damme Route, a popular cycling trail through Meetjesland. There is a covered bike parking (unattended) available at the station – ideal for those who want to combine their steam train visit with a bike ride through Meetjesland.
